Yesterday's Weapons Forums

The state range finally opened again so I made a reservation and out I went with the 41 mag & two 38s. I wanted to take more, but you can only book for an hour and only one shooter out there at a time.

Seems kinda stoopid since it's an outdoor range, but that's the state for you. They also had a "no magnums rule" for the pistol range. Seems a couple blockheads were really flinching with 44 mags and shot through the overhang. If somebody can't control their gun, it's time to get the boot.

But I loaded up anyway intending to play the "I didn't hear the no magnum part" card. Blazed away, and they never knew the difference. Shot some 41 full wadcutters and 38s.

I would have liked another hour, but had fun with what they gave me.

I clearly need more practice. As shown, I'm good for the first three, but the group opens up after that. More shooting? You bet! SW

Nice shootin hogger! I am lucky to be on paper at 25 yds!

I am well over due for a pit session.

glad you got the chance to get out and use them , its been real hot and humid here so ive avoided the range
