And, according to the A.P. Palestinian President Abbas wants to charge Israel with war crimes for the deaths of civilians. Seems that Abbas has managed to forget that Hamas like any good terrorist group tries to uses those same civilian schools, homes, and medical districts as human shields. Win-win for Hamas, hold your fire they fire more, fire back and they go crying to the west about all those poor dead civilians.

From what I hear, Hamas runs Gaza and wants a general embargo lifted so they won't say "import rockets parts from abroad" so they fired rockets at targets literally all over Israel to make their point. A west bank Palestinian "official" kept mentioning that the UN passed an amendment lifting the embargo, but he failed to mention it was in place to stop Hamas in the Gaza from getting its hands on weapons, like rockets to strike deep into Israel. Also, no mention of attacks out of all those tunnels in Gaza was spoken of.

Right now Israeli artillery is saving the local taxpayers loads of money by using 155mm shells instead of expensive smart bombs. I'm sure a few rounds have been fired for effect. Hamas is being hunted down like the dogs they are. More power to Israel for doing so.

Damn hamastinans can literally go pound sand. If they don't like it they can either learn to live in peace or go the eff back to Egypt and Jordan where they came from.

(The latter being preferable then Gaza can become a resort area with casinos and the like )

Yeah.....what's with all the soldiers these days wearing face covers??? Russian, Ukrainian, Hamas.....Muslims...????

im with hogger on this one - fire for affect and continue till the stupid rockets stop - then help those that survive the onslaught with the stipulation the rockets STOP as does all the other terrorism .

I'm wondering when that 1st 5mega mushroom bomb will be detonated.... you know Russia would sell one.....and, given the dire circumstances....one may be in a tunnel~ right now....

It's about time Israel went for the jugular on hamas. Those rat bastards need to be rooted out to the very last one of them. Using kid schools and hospitals as hostages for their criminal attacks goes beyond the pale. This is no time to go in, do a lot of damage and then pull out declaring victory. This time, pull out when hamas says you win! Then again, if they do it right, there won't be any terrorists left to declare Israel's victory.

....another sad situation is that a LOT of the media in this country(and elsewhere) is not reporting the truth,and convieniently leaving out details and not saying anything positive about the Israelis....even the UN ( and unfortunately OUR Fearless Leader) really do NOT support them...they are being complicit in pretty much 'setting up' Israel so that every time they DO defend themselves-they end up the bad guy-I dont see ANY condemnation of the HAMAS(unfortunately the Palestinians voted for Hamas to run things -kinda like the low information voters elected Dear Fearless Leader-twice )....its gonna get reeeeeal ugly folks and I'm very bothered and embarrased by our 'leadership' in the position they are taking.....
....I could go on but I'm depressed enough for now....

they will do what they need to do till the end - there will never , ever , be another holocaust in their time , and i support them on this , if they were unprovoked i would feel differently , but this is something we would never tolerate from mexico - their bleeding our system yes , but rockets and military assaults , i think not

that said - our southern boarder needs to be secured , and isreal needs to be left in peace , if someone needs a nuke - im not so sure , maybe they need a major attitude adjustment , but im reluctant to suggest annihilation is the right course , one day - islam needs to come into this century

ive read some of the gradual transition of muslims here to more common thinking , its going to be slow and painful , i do not thoink it needed to happen here , but if it starts and gets a footing perhaps we may one day see the change , not sure we will survive it tho
