Russian women have this strange notion that you have to be "fashionable" all the time, regardless of circumstances. For a lot of them it means looking like a whore off to work.
I still can't get my head round it but eyeballs tend to keep popping out when walking around an ex-USSR city ....
( And then wife asks "why are you staring at that girl ...". yeah right.)
