Part of my retirement plan is to clean the gun rooms & then the basement in general. Eventually.
Worked on the spare gun room (used to be my dark room) today & tossed a BUNCH of junk which mostly related to chemical photography. Cut film holders for my Speed Graphic - old letter filters - adapters... put all that in a box & free to a good home if anybody still uses old cameras. Also have a few old film cameras free to a good home. Mostly Olympus pen & EE. Might work - might not.
Tossed a lot of chem. photography stuff. Hardly anybody messes with that anymore.
Moved a big stack of junky rifles (I used to buy u fix 'ems 5 at a whack for cheep to get one good one) and found an oil painting I scored at a garage sale many moons ago. Older daughter grabbed that.
Lo & behold I found an 8# keg of bullseye = about 4# left and most of a 4# keg of red dot. I'll put that to good use in 38 & 9mm!
Made a trip to the dumpster & nap time now! I'm liking this retirement biz!
