Yesterday's Weapons Forums

It's not winter yet but it did snow a lick all night leaving about 4" on the flat. +19 when I took little mutt over to Co-op for deli breakfast stuff. Deli lady likes the little goof & always gives her extra bacon. (from a store window she can see the dog hanging her mug out the truck)

Besides the snow, there are a lot of branches dragging the ground. I whacked a few with the shovel & they sprang right back up when the snow fell off. Only one I can see in my yard find actually broke. No biggy - I'll cut it up tomorrow.

So I scooped the driveway & walk - shuffled across the street & did likewise for geezer lady. Which was my exercise since hiking in the buttes was a no go with all the drifts.

It's colder & plenty of snow to scoop, but I'm glad I'm here & not in Florida where hurricanes seem to be pretty common. I don't think I'd do well with those. SW

Was out last night. None of that here, and we caught the edge of a nor wester Thursday. Just missed us by that much (thumb and fore-finger).

Quite a sight last night. Caught a decent 4 hr break in the clouds. Stars shining down through ice crystals on a moonless night looked pretty awesome. Looked like there were tiny lit Christmas trees under every star...

we had the flurries of little bitty stuff - no accumulation at all , but its starting again , i will add my two thumbs up to "rather be here than there " where the hurricane hit , seems my namesake did a bit of damage and took a good number of lives , i feel this is getting too much political play to garner votes in the midterms and not near enough honest journalistic coverage that might actually inspire help , but then what can we expect from the hack reporters with an agenda - and they wonder why we pay so little attention or give them any credibility ......i have no respect for the press anymore at all ,
