The one thing I hate about going to a religious college is having to watch what I say to prevent offending anyone. I just had to do a position paper on a text for a christian studies class. I'm sweating bullets hoping I don't offend the instructor. But he did call it a position paper.

Seems to me, in my lifes experiance, that religion has to be one heck of a debatable issue.....

At least you don't have to worry about the faculty & staff trying to indoctrinate you with communist gobbledy-gook (unless it isn't a Christian college)

dont kid yourself , religious schools are just as likely to teach the commie grabley gook , its liberalism , and in spite of the fact that it could cost them their livleyhood and lives , they are anticapitalism in spite of the fact that it provided their opportunity to say so


im not sure this will come out right but ...is their value in an education that forces students to accept the beliefs of the prof ? i would hope that a prof would not only accept a contrary position , but to applaud a well done one just as they would one they agree with , isnt the purpose of a position paper to force the writer to take a stance and defend it ? substantiation of your position with logic , facts , and reason should be the standard of evaluation ,

One thing I would never do would be is attend some sort of religous college because I would definatly offend some one. But then again I no longer have any reason to go to college.
