Tomorrow is my son Sean's first day at work for the belgian Federal (aka national)
Police Dept.
He won't be in blue or carrying a gun, he's one of those computer geeks riding to the office (in Brussel) on his mountainbike carrying a backpack and a Pokemon cap on his long blonde hair ;-)
Maybe I'll let him use my NCIS cap sometime :-)
I'm a proud dad.

Hi there, things seem to be going fine at court.
His bosses are happy about his work and it sure is less boring than sitting in a callcenter all day. I've been kidding him about having a peek in the evidence room, I'm sure there's a lot of nice things in there nobody needs anymore ;-)
About transport; until he gets his driving liscence (should get it end of the month) AND has enough money to afford a car the bike will remain his primary means of transportation. He rides it to the train station in town and there takes the train to Brussel.
The "Justice Palace" (High Court House) is not far from the central trainstation.
