Been after one o' these for the better part of the last 25 years:

She's the post and cross wire reticle:

The guys that know what to look for will see both post and wire. Will try a better pic this week under controlled lighting.

Happier than a pig in a poke. Paid about 75.00 U.S. for it! First decent one I've seen around here that was under 300.00.

Near as I can tell, it subtends 6 m.o.a. from the tip of the post to the top of the crosswire. A third of a brisket is easy enough to remember. Next time I'm out, I'll try ranging it against a true mil-dot and see how close I am...

From what I've seen over the years, Stroebel has seriously under-valued these.

Around these parts, the post and cross-wire are very much in demand~ even more so in the K-3 version.

He only places a premium on these for the T.K. Lee-Dot- which is a little strange for 2.5-4 X...

Think I've found a more suitable home for that k-4!

Looks more at home on the 52, than it does on that home built air carbine.

The three white objects in front of the objective are expired Winchester Super X 38 gr hollow points rcovered from semi coarse sand at 25 yards. Despite the slightly thick post, this combination groups under a 1/4" at 25 yards.

Had a heckuva time getting zeroed, though. It was an off-day shootin-wise for me ( Yes, I do get those once in a while ) , and the gusting winds has a lot to do with that. Expended a lot more of the Super X's then I was intending to...

Did nail a late afternoon Ruffie with this set up, and the shot was longggg- far side of 55 yds, and again with the wind, it took a 3rd shot to connect.

We'll see how this rig plays out after a couple more outings. Liking the looks of it so far!
