Both of these pics are classic-hold my beer and watch this shots. Who is the unlucky soul that gets to remove the snake? The only way I'll do it is with a 12 gauge!
Many moons ago in Washington state at a place called Hurricane Ridge, I saw stupid people blocking the road so they could try to feed a deer.

12ga on the gas pump aint good , what possessed that snake to crawl up there ?

ive witnessed the stupidity of the tourist in yellowstone , told this before - we were dropping down outa montanna into the north entry of the park at daybreak one year with my kids in the back seat , there were a couple cars pulled over causing the "traffic jamb" so it slowed us enough to get a good view of what was going on , a grizzly had snagged an elk and was proceeding to gut it and eat what it was getting [yes it was still alive] and there were idiots going down close with cameras to get a 'good shot' , i moved on not wanting the kids to see the stupid tourists join the meal , its not so much the bear would need added nutrition as it might well consider them a threat to his meal , you cant fix stupid .......

just sayin ,

Had one a few miles from here over the weekend. Woman stops in southbound lane of two lane road to assist a turtle across the road. Semi didn't see her until to late, swerved to miss the car and clobbered her. Life Flight for the woman and ticket for the Driver for failure to reduce speed to avoid and accident. No word on the turtle.
We get them from Shitcago . all sort of highjinks, falling off cliffs, river accidents, tourist driving, you name it.

Thought of you yesterday, Rebel49 - took little mutt out for a short hike & on a remote county road a bighorn ram was standing in the middle of the road.

It's a crappy road so I wasn't going fast at all. Did I have a camera? Heck, no! You never see cool stuff when you have a camera!

Saw 6 cow elk about 15 miles from the house a month back. The elk population is really taking off around here. SW
