-4 when I started the truck this morning & more snow to scoop. White Christmas, indeed!

Both preppy daughters live nearby & will bring stuff for dinner tomorrow. Wifey bought a gi-normous turk which will hopefully leave a lot of leftovers. I likes me some leftovers!

Making this an even happier Christmas is that I don't have to be on a train!

I'm going to scoop snow for geezer lady across the street & next door guy who's on oxygen. Too many cigarettes in his younger days. But it would tear him up to be outside so I'll do the deal.

Here's hoping the rest of you have decent weather and a good day with family.

Merry Christmas, friends!! SW

-28 C here. Windchill -40, which is the same, Fahrenheit or Celsius...
(and it's moving south)

We have a small store bought turkey ready for oven. Not sure how we are going to shuffle people about~ it's a good thing I plugged the block heater in last night.

Merry Christmas!

Regards,

Doc Sharptail

+11f which is a nice improvement over yesterday. More snow but it didn't take long to brush it aside. Took trash out for wifey & cruised Haystack just to see what was up.

Nothing open but mini-mart & McRonalds. A few people at mini-mart, but only one car at the McD's drive up.

Streets are still slick so not many people out. Back we came & am goofing off waiting for the ripping, tearing & shredding of wrapping paper to commence after everybody shows up.

Daughters wanted to start at 0900, but I just don't see that happening. I might go out & sweep the fresh snow in a bit... or not. I'm getting lazy in my old age! ;) SW

Not bad for first attempt. Could feel the slow cooker eyeing me on the back of the head

Thoroughly cooked, and great tasting. Stuffing's the instant stuff you start in boiling water, then pack the bird with before cooking. Can tell by the lack of celery and onion. Didn't hear any complaints from those who ate...

Regards,

Doc Sharptail

not bad at all , it looks very tastey to me ,

you coulda added celery , onion , peppers and such ya know - my wife likes a bit of spicey sausage and wild rice , mushrooms mixed in as well , it makes for an interesting dressing that can be a meal the next day if one is creative , i kinda like it fixed in the waffle iron for breakfast - a kinda dressing waffle if you will ,
