Yesterday's Weapons Forums

Preppie daughters were here & large quantities of turk were snarfed down. Christmas isn't about gifts, so it was just small stuff under the tree, but older daughter did get us something neat - a device so we can watch Netflix and Amazon movies on our dumb TV (flatscreen).

I've already been binge-watching old Addams Family and My Fave Martian reruns. This thing is just the ticket for days when there's nothing worth watching on regular TV... which is most of the time anymore.

It's a lull in the eating right now while they went home to let the dogs out. Younger daughter had been helping deliver meals on wheels & went to a friends to "spread more cheer".

Overall it's been a great day! SW

I've been covered in blankets shivering for the past 2 days.

I didn't really want the flu for Christmas, but I guess it was either that or a lump of coal

We had a good one. Turkey lunch at crzy dot's, and then a big store bought turkey dinner here.

I got a fine haul this year. A much needed winter coat, and a beaut of a t-shirt which I'm wearing right now.

Main thing is great grand kidz got a lotta toys, clothes, fruit, cookies, and love...

we did similar - ate well , and enjoyed the grand kidz to the point that they were worn out - went to bed willingly and that almost never happens , had one falling asleep at the dinner table ,

daughter played violin at the church service and was late to dinner as she had to do multiple services but all was wonderful , still have next weekend as well to catch all of the family for the festivities , extended familys complicate things but also extend the festivities , i believe i am ready for a knap and by next week perhaps an extended sleep session ,
