Back at'cha!

Older daughter & SiL came over to play Monopoly & do the new year bit. She got boardwalk & park place which aren't good places to land when they have buildings. So she won. They played cards after that & I went to bed around 10. No party animal here!

I was actually up at midnight - dog was fussing about fireworks, but I was soon back to bed. SW

not a party guy either - had gandkids here to allow the children [of mine] a bit of festivity , hope they had fun without putting themselves at risk - nothing bad reported , my wife and the endest stayed up till the ball dropped but i turned in at 10 - thought to hang in and watch the ball drop in times square safely in bed but i seemed to have fallen asleep shortly after - woke to my usual call about 2 , missed it again ,

breakfast with friends and a birthday celebration of sorts , just real relaxing after the last two four day weekends of christmas .....we did do the trans siberian orchestra concert on saturday night , that was impressive ,

back to the regular grind tomorrow

Not much excitement around here. Just me, the old lady and the fuzzy moose ( those two wimped out and crashed in the bedroom) I watched Gunsmoke until about 11:45 and got a shower and then went on the computer till 2am. Forty years ago I would have been puking on my shoes and fightin. I decided that that drunk and stupid is no way to go thru life and quit.
We ate snacks watched TV and just hung out until the other two gave up.

I think I was in bed by 10pm.

No shoe puking in shoes this year
