I'm not a pro football fan at all - especially since some of the participating whiners wouldn't stand for the National Anthem. "America isn't fair to minorities!" they said. 'They' being millionaires from playing a game people pay to watch.

I wasn't interested in either team but did watch a bit. Seems to me it's just an event orchestrated for commercial gain. Companies pay what - a million a minute to advertise during the game? Which can only be economically feasible to a certain extent. I can't be the only viewer who categorically mutes all commercials.

And the halftime 'entertainment' ... entertaining on what level? Saw about 30 seconds of that and *click* off to another channel.

Then there's the 'expert' commentators. Okay, former players have insights to what's happening or happened, but dissecting each play quickly gets old.

I guess it seems like the event used to be a lot better... it's probably just me - old fart whiner! SW

it was SUPER back when real men played the game. When you could put a hit on a quarterback and the MAN just stood up and took another snap. The next "innovation" will be an airbag suit for the pussy under center.

i was fine with it till that stupid comment came out that all patriot fans were white racist bigots - im so sick of the democrat BS that now i wished i had cheered the patriots on ,

I was watching for the commercials. They were pretty much a bust. Fortunately, I found a string of Ron White clips on Youtube and watched those while waiting for another round of commercials.

Got a kick out of the insurance ad where the cat gets morphed into a tea kettle.
Other than that, a bust.
Think I'll stick to our 3 down aerial game~ much more entertaining....

It's been about 4 years since I pulled the plug on pay TV.

I honestly don't miss it one bit

we are considering that as well , dont think it will be missed - lots of DVDs to watch and i mostly look at it as a background unless something real nifty comes on - otherwise a diversion and entertainment im not needing really ,

My wife has Netflix, my daughter Hulu, and we have Amazon Prime. There are things to watch, but I really don't have much time. I side-loaded Kodi on my firestick and throw on some old stuff when I hit the rack...... Rat Patrol, McHale's Navy, Benny Hill, Hogan's Heroes, etc.

Never make it much past 10 mins or so of a show at that time of night
