Heat dome over central N. America ain't moved in over 21 days... I think the high temperatures push some of the borderline types over the edge. It ain't confined to the states though. We got our share up here that shoot way inappropriately- 4 over the last 3 weeks, and I'm making little effort to be informed. Regards, Doc Sharptail |

Walmart now sez no open carry in their stores even if it's legal. Licensed concealed carry people are still welcome. I personally don't care for open carry unless I'm actively hunting, but wally just lost my biz. It's just another knee jerk, feel good solution that solves exactly nothing. Not that I shop there much anymore. For gro, the locally owned Co-op is cheeper on a lot of things, and the meat is darn sure fresher. SW |

ya - no pistols , 'short barreled rifles' [you gotta have a tax stamp for those already] or ammo for them , so i been thinkin , i have long rifles with wood and lever actions that shoot pistol caliber ammo - so i think that makes it long barreled rifle ammo , same with 'short barreled rifle ammo' , least you should be able to get some deals they are going to clear their inventory before implementing the new policy |
