been noticing the changes in foliage - trees and critters are changing color , i saw it starting a week or so back - we have discussed it at the range on our off time - but it is getting more extreme this past week , it is officially fall , changing from tennis shoes to boots and starting to wear jackets , i can handle this - i love fall , its winter i hate and the old farmers almanac has predicted one i will hate , but then thats not where we are yet ....yet |

Really cooling off here, too. 49 when I took the mutt out yesterday AM & plenty chilly. Doves think it's chilly, too - there aren't that many left. I still think dove season should start Aug 15 instead of Sept 1, but it wasn't put up for a vote. I gots a snow blower now so I'm ready for a tough winter! SW |

Cooled off for a couple of days here in cowtown. Then the temp remembered that Fall isn't here yet and is pushing itself back into the 90s for most of the week. Cooler temps can't come soon enough. I need sone outdoor range time. |
