If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

What a slow Halloween! And the weather wasn't even rank. We had 7 little geezers hit us up. I was amazed they all said thank you, too! Good show, that.

Younger daughter said next town over had a merchant's T or T event & it sounds like the kids were over there loading up. Hers sure did & barely had room in their loot bags for the stuff we had set aside for them.

Which means we have a lot left over. Good thing I bought the kind I like! ;) SW

4" of snow and 20mph wind and we still had 20 or so. And yes they all said "Thank you" and Happy Halloween.
I remember trick or treating a couple of times during a snow storm, my Dad knew I was nuts. Got some big hauls though. This in the early 60's.

A little envious of you guys. In 20+ years in this condo, the next kid I have at my door will be the first. You would think I would have a horde of the little darlings. There is a door every 20 feet. Dense pack, maximum gain for minimum effort. A lot of years, I go to the Zoomies place, he and his wife get over a 100 kids most of the time.

Quiet here. They don't bother with the interlocking door/intercom system in our building.
Our property managers set up in one of the classic buildings down the street from us, and there were a lot of kids there.

Grand kids took out the great grand kids and had quite a haul. No apples though~ not like when we were kids and apples were a luxury that parents confiscated at the door for fall baking....
Tons of chocolate and sugar candy.

Regards,

Doc Sharptail

i get nothing , we are at the end of a dark area with no streetlights , even with house/garage lights on it looks a tad bit foreboding at night past the mailbox and drive at the curb , with dense woods and dark shadows , if i did not know my lot i would not venture in at dark - the kids have all these well lit areas a block away in a couple directions , dont have to venture into the scary movie set to get what they want , its OK tho both my wife and i enjoy the peace and quiet - buy no candy regret not eating the forbidden in excess :velo:
