its actually a less happy event for me as that is the day [in 2000] when my father passed away , he was a vet , as most here know i selected my moniker and avitar in honor of him , he was the one thayt inspired me to be here in a round-a-bout way by inspiring my interest in shooting and collecting long before it was fashionable and long before the internet - he never really knew of what we have here , he would have loved it ,

interesting enough he always called it armistice day - thats how i grew up in spite of the changes over the years , its how he grew up , life changes but we do hold dear the things we grew up with ,
