Couldn't find my fave pic of Dad with two horses, but here's one of him at the ranch with my ride - 68 Roadrunner. I actually kept up payments while I was in the service - as little as they paid then. Ate in the chow hall all the time & no $ pooped away at the EM club. But I did it.

Cool wheels! Lid's a decent style- more suited to horseback than a 1/2 ton...

My family relationship is improving. I'm actually the elder now in our bracket.
Got a surprising haul for father's day. Wife went a little over board on it.
Crazy Dot put on a bit of good chow too- whole roasted chickens with stuffing and gravy!

I don't know how many pipes and tobacco I got my own Dad over the years. He had a rack of them, but there were only a couple that he actually used- which he bought for himself.
He liked the whiskey soured Borkum Riff a lot, which I ended up buying for him from time to time. When he bought his own, it was always Sail in the yellow pouch.
Come to think of it, he's been gone a shade over forty years now. Still think of him at times, mostly when I'm on the old back roads he liked during grouse season...

i actually had the first fathers day with family in maybe 12 years - always been at a cowboy shoot that weekend , had wife , both children , both in law children , and all six grandkids in one place , it was great ,
