so - i got furloughed mid march - let go end of march , no biggy was going to retie in december anyway , just not on my schedule it seems , im OK with it , been working my second seasonal job more than i wanted ever since and looks like ill be doing so next years as well ...not certain yet how i might feel after first of year , but at 70+ i think i can decide later ,

i have an offer of another job as well that i can do off season or permanent but ....not sure yet what ill do , all that said ---to my topic

as a complaint to this covid crap and in compliance with the business closings ive not cut my hair since last february ....and i stopped shaving mid march , so now -

my grandaughter calls me santa
an old friend told me i was looking like santa
a lot of strangers at the club tell me i look like santa

do i hold off and play santa or do i get cleaned up and look respecable again ? im thinking to hold out till this covid crap goes away and if we have a civil war i aint cuttin nuthin till the fightins over just like the last one ,

all kiddin aside im scared im gonna have to play santa at christmas if i dont get trimmed up pretty soon ,

The reason I won't grow a beard. It will be white and I do not want to be called Santa. It is bad enough to have his figure!

My whiskers come out white as well.

Don't know how some guys put up with beards. The stubble gets really bothersome to me around 1/4" long, and it's gotta come off. I'm just not comfortable with it...


Virus has put a lot of people out of work here. A lot of small businesses have gone under- mostly the mom and pop eateries. I don't see any work in my near future, at least for a while...
