I ordered stocking stuffers from a place that sells science-oriented things like Edmund Scientific used to offer. Got the bobbing, drinking duck set up just to see if it worked. Then we got carried away playing with the "magic 8-ball" that you shake to get various "answers" to questions. But the one that really has my attention is a cheap, student grade microscope. I was always interested in biology and enjoyed microscopes at school. Turns out I still am. Went through all the prepared slides that came with it and made a couple more - tiny speck of blood & so forth. Now I'm ready to order more prepared slides & accessories next month. Ah, yes! Toys! there are a lot of boxes coming to our house these days - wifes name on them , she likes to spoil the grandkids and she tends like you toward the educational/scientific stuff , i like watching them open them to see what we gat them , always surprised , and pleased |
