Great invention on a snow blower! After 6 futile yanks on the handle, plugged it in and... *crank crank crank* bingo!

Temp is +4 and expecting 6 or 8" of white stuff. Got this one for Christmas brang new. It was on the patio so I got it running and moved it around front in the garage.

Ran it a bit just to get a feel for the controls & discovered I need goggles and probably a towel wrapped around my mug.

It's still coming down pretty good so no more snow blowing for a while.

Must be winter! SW

We've gotten almost a foot and a half since mid Dec.

Lower your discharge chute height, and "quarter" the discharge away from the machine to keep from getting it in the face. Eye protection is a must with one of these. The odds of it picking up more than snow are fairly high.

We had a 12 h/p at work. Electric start was all it had. There was a little too much 4 stroke compression on it for recoil starting. We made a plexiglas shield for ours, and it worked, sort of. We'd have to stop it every now and then to clear the shield in order to see.

Pace your self with that thing. Depending on conditions, it can be more exertion than manual shovelling....

Well, it's not exactly "electric start," but it's just as convenient.

Sold my lake house on Lake Eufaula in SE Oklahoma in November of '21 so I traded my 2009 Expedition in on a brand new 2021 F-150i n December 2021. Got $6k trade and paid cash for the rest. To make a long story short, the truck has remote start. Never had a vehicle with that before.

It was 107° outside today and I had to go get a Rx refill. Prestarting the truck and letting it cool down was awesome! I figure doing the same with heating this winter will be just as nice.

wondered how you were gonna tie this old post into your current one - nicely done , i rather like my auto start as well all times of the year , have not been without since the late 90s , wont have another without ,

got that right - even my wife wont be without one anymore , took a bit to convince her but once she had it .....actually thanked me
