Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

I haven't been saying much about the war in Ukraine since it's well covered in other venues, but this clip really amazed me. Reservists in a combat zone armed with bolt action Mosin-Nagants??? They're out of AKs???

Going by their chin whiskers, I'd say they're most likely Chechen conscripts. I'd also say they go on very short patrols. Like 3 laps around the parking lot and call it good.

BTW, white tape on their arms is used to ID they're (nominally) Russian. UKR troops use blue or yellow tape in the same way. SW

Much improved ballistics over the A/K, but that's about it.
I would tend to agree that a supply issue is very highly likely to blame.

From what I've seen of the early fighting on t.v., they are very wary of getting within range of the Ukrainians.

The video needs about 30 sec. or so to load.
It's worth scrolling around on this page.
