"Japan at War". I didn't actually write it but did edit all 890 pages. Also wrote a few filler articles for empty spaces on various pages. Some of the items shown are from collections of people who've been accumulating for decades. A fellow in Oz even sent pics from the entire Jap field hospital he somehow possesses.

A translated diary never before seen in print is included...

This project took over 3 years to complete. The 1st printing went out 5 years ago. Missed out on that one - the publisher recently got enough orders for another run, and I finally got a copy.

What an epic work on the topic! I am proud to have contributed! SW

Cool book.

The most interesting part to me are the 1st person diaries from 1942 - 1943. I'll check with the publisher to see if I can reproduce them here a little at a time.

Not really a spoiler - both write of starvation, illness and no support from the IJN or air assets. SW
