Not many people there. Several old timers were gossiping and swapping lies - it's a small town. No ID required in Nebr - you just have to sign. The neighborhood voting lady actually compared my sig to previous years. Really not much on the ballot. Voted for gov & state senator - same people as the last 12 years. A lot of positions only had one name and "vote for one". Couldn't see the merit of that and skipped right on by to 'should judge X be retained in office'. I always vote a straight ticket on that = no. Let's give somebody else a chance! But a judge seldom gets voted out. Only one that I can recall, and she was a real piece of work. Saw people I knew and stopped to yak for a bit. Now if my vote only made a difference. SW |

voted last week, in person absentee, this was after thinking it was voting day and driving up to the normal polling place, lady looked at me like I was nuts,,, 'oh no Sir, that is next week' idjit, I was, Congress Critter, who will likely win despite vote for the other guy, and a local debt referendum, more poll workers than voters that time, on that day, |
