Yesterday's Weapons Forums

last friday we dug a hole for a basement level of a new building - formed and poured footings , friday night we got a deluge , washed out some of the work ......

yesterday we took the side off a precast building opened up about 60 feet of wall , 24 feet high , seveer storm moved thru about two houhs later , another deluge and high winds [we did not get the 80mph strraight lines an adjacent area got , but] we took on enough water that it took five of us about two hours with brooms and squeeges to clear it , got to bed about midnight and up at four to relieve the security guard at five [he was hired to do a five-to-five shift] gotta say this company has a decent bunch of guys working for it , not one grumble , last night or this morning so far ,

running on two pots of strong coffee - we shall see what today brings , still looking like its gonna storm and we are due to remove another 60 feet of wall today ,

....never fails does it...???always hits the fan when you're doin' somethin' like that.....the stuff's been all around us-but we're so dry here I can walk my property and see long winding twisting wide cracks in the ground/grass......all over.....

Yup, there are a lot of trees down on both sides of us. For some reason we were in the middle and only had a few small branches down.
