What a dysfunctional bunch! I better list the people first: Wifey's oldest sister ( S1) Actually pretty normal. Has 2 masters degrees in English. Retired after teaching same for 37 years. I like her. Next oldest sister ( S2) I think I mentioned once her hubby had been porking her mother for a number of years. Mother is 87 now - S2's ex is 69. They are still doing the big nasty. From mixing viagra, BP meds and booze, I figure his life expectancy is less than Charlie Sheen's.

S2's ex used to have a green tractor dealership and a gaggle of $. He now has roughly .5 gaggle and no dealership. S2 is set for life.

Then there is wifey. We have been married for 31 years & no plans on my part to change that.

Younger sister (S3) Married the brother of S2's ex. Been married 39 years - it would have been 40 Valentine's day. But some gold-digger skank down the road decided he was worth messing around with & he had a big enough farm to support the lifestyle she fancies. So he dumps S3 and takes up with skank. But! skank did not realize S3's hubby had filed bankruptcy a few years ago and doesn't actually have a pit to hiss in.

To the extent that he was coming back to the farm & loading scrap metal into a truck to be turned into $ for wining & dining the skank. A few pickup loads of scrap metal don't translate into much time at the bar or high-end restaraunt in Denver. So he began loading grain and selling that for cash. But! The grain actually belongs to the entity who is administering the bankruptcy. As in selling it just MIGHT be felony theft by unlawful taking.

Same for the cattle that are now gone. So S3 blew the whistle & things don't look too rosy for her soon to be ex. He and skank came over to the farm to get more stuff to sell, and S3 went live on both of them. Pulled a "large quantity of hair" from skank's head. ( So sayeth the complaint) and slapped a "large welt" on hubby's face. ( So sayeth THAT complaint)

Nebr does not monkey around with domestic violence - any visible evidence of an assault results in immediate incarceration. So off to the slammer went S3. Judge did not set bond. Since the farm is pretty much worthless, S3 could not afford an attorney, but S1 and S2 popped for that - wifey offered to bunk her up here until the dust settles.

She got out yesterday. I suspect her attorney chatted with hizonor prior to her court appearance and since she is a sickly 60 y/o woman, she was out on a sig bond. It snowed heavily here last night, but they are enroute at this moment.

To further complicate matters, S3's three children have thrown her under the bus.
S3's hubby fed tham a big song & dance about how much the farm is worth and their mom was pi$$ing away their inheritance by whistle blowing. So 3 greedy kids have been hammering on mom to cave in & say the whistle blowing was a big mistake caused by her Rx drug jones... that really exists. She eats more oxycontin and percoset each day than I do Coco Krispies. Then they dogpiled on S3 to seek psych help because she is "crazy".

I won't say she's completely normal, but having the rug pulled from beneath her life - 2/3 of it on the stinking farm - plus the kids turning rabid on her is most likely what tipped her over the edge and precipitated the alleged attacks... I dunno.

I do know jail had a profound effect on her. "It was a tiny cell with no TV or clock!" Yep - that's jail. "I had to wear their underwear & wasn't allowed a bra!!!" Well, if they let you wear a bra, everybody would want one! "Not even a toothbrush!!!" Oh, sure - you wanted to make a shank with one, didn't ya!

Wifey is not taking calls from S3's kids. I think it has finally soaked in that when the dust settles, they will not even have enough dirt to grow a dandylion. They have already asked wifey to plead their case to S3 but no dice. The depravity continues.

So I scored wifey some fleurs yeaterday and tried to assure her that I do not want a divorce. Heck, we don't do so bad.

Now that I read this, I'm not entirely sure why I've written it... maybe just to organize stuff in my mind more clearly. You know, I had planned to stay home a trip from the RR, but going to work doesn't look too bad right now... we will see. S3 will be here soon and walking a very fine line between sanity & what comes next.

I think one of my big disappointments in life is to see family members kick one of theirs when they are down rather than giving them support. They think they are entitled to have more than everyone else. Greed and narcisissm. Sorry to hear you are having to see this too.

By the Grace of God, by the time S2 & S3 left a meeting with her divorce attorney in N Platte, the roads to S2's place was considerably improved. Better than the road here, they thought so off to S2's house they went with a supply of wine. Which works for me!

Dare I say it, I have a large quantity of firearms in the house and insufficient locks to secure even a fraction of them. Come to find out, S3 has an older H&R 38S&W ( I think) revolver that was her Dad's & it is presently on her person. Well, her person isn't here, so there's only so much I can do - like very close to nothing.

At some point this afternoon, S3 got a call from an official representing the bankruptcy admin agency. Having been much encouraged by her divorce attorney, she sang like a parakeet that had found Charlie Sheen's stash of nose candy.

Seems like S3's hubby's shifty shifting of assets is even more criminal than anyone thought. In short, if wifey knows where all the bodies are buried, overtly throwing her under the bus is just not good biz. It sucks to be him and he doesn't even know it.

So I have burned a PL day & will take a trip off from work. It's supposed to be cold here tommorrow & I fancy just laying around.

It's quite a relief that S3 isn't showing up... let me amend that to say I don't actually mind S3 showing up - just not with all her baggage. If that makes any sense.

You know, I hesitated to post this... it sounds pretty outrageous. I mean guys in their late 60s think about fun with another woman other than their wifey, but an 87 y/o hag??? YUCK!

Much drama is yet to unfold. Like when skank figures out her new bf doesn't actually have squat & instead of him feeding her cattle, she could hire some young kid and...

I forgot to mention she is quite well off. Inherited a large wheat farm but prefers to squander other people's money. Her last bf had been in his 80s but had land & $. He now has neither. So S3's hubby is taking care of her catle... and her... and they dine out each evening with mixed drinks afterward. And those are NOT cheep!

So after he gets dumped and has no farm, then what?

One thing I have learned is that you cannot choose your blood relatives but your inlaws that is a whole nother ball of wax.

And I thought my side was bad all with a step sister (ss1) who killed her toddler and only spent 4 yrs in the pen for it.

And another step sister who left her great (and well to do) husband and 2 kids for one of her female HS students (the SS was a teacher).

And step brother is known for befriending older folks to steal their wealth!

Sorry I cant stand any of them.

Good news is my full bros and sis are great folks. My stepmother is very proud of us and rejects her kids. And yes I love her much.

Hi guys! Thanks for the comments. I had to back off some of my meds so I can think better. Draw back is the increase in pain. My wife said she has noticed the difference.

I have missed this forum very much so I hope my mental brain will focus better. Another thing was both computers died about 3 months ago and I used to be good at fixing them but the "brain cloud" I have has forgotten the ropes.

Good news is some of the other Deputies where I worked know about our money issues and they got together and bought me a nice little laptop! So I don't have many excuses.

Big thanks to Steve! He has kept an eye on me and helped with my sanity! Thanks again guys I have missed you all! I might even cry for a second!
