went out this evening just after dark to do a little scouting. pigs have been scarce with this heat wave we've been having here in Texas. walked up on this 100 lb. sow rooting next to the tree line. the XD did the trick loaded with 147 gr Winchester SXT's. one shot, back of the head and DRT!

Nasty kritters..........Tenn has taken them outta of the 'game' catagory, and ONLY if your a land owner can you hunt them here....to many idiots transplanting/trapping and then trying to set up for hunting. the population has grown in certain areas......around here....if it moves ... shoot it has most of them wiped out~thankfully! :m60:

i agree transplanting is a really awfull idea , throws the balance of nature off severely , and can devestate the natural game/predator balance ,

i think feeding the coyotes is a very worthwhile avenue - long as you hunt them as well , overfed is overbred , and soon they may be the scourge ,
