Dang, just when I was Gassed, and loaded to tread the unexplored...
Rrrrrrrr. Rrrrrrr. Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz! "?????" starter starts, but wont engauge....



I have it figured, all right, seems the rubber bushing above the helix, around the top of the shaft, on the rising gear that engages the fly wheel is disentagrating, and binding in the helical gears.....I can deal with that......

Now for some total "Mc Guiver" mechaniking, as ALL my tools are stored/boxed/???

This 115 has been a total PITA since I got it......

Luckily enough , the oldest son got a promotion at work , and is off for training, and hence, is home a few extra days, so I have a spear chuker aboard , as I am heading to Caribou hunt, He'll be looking the waterways over for FAT delicious Seals....

Now to test this onemore time and put it back together....

Ohhhh yaaaaaaa........

Blew the morning calm away with target practise and the afternoon with boat repair....

All back together, starter and the bilge pump are back to 100%

Did I ever post a picture of Crazy Helen???? This is what me and the boys got the wife for her birthday, a much better, safer boat , but with the same 115 Evinrude.....
My other boats are Helen Back and Helen Gone




This is the wifes got up and go, I preferr my unsinkable Boston Whaler with my 15 hrs...... lots of room for a load and minimal gas consumption in that.

Crazy Helen talkes about 10-15 Gallons to get to Kotzebue, when my Helen Gone takes 4 or 5...depending on the day and the way

Aint caught the plug puller, but I've got a good idea that its my Church pals.....seems theres a few that are what I consitter "Real" and theyve given me some 2nd hand gossip.

The day and the way will present its self, I assure you.
I dont get even , I get Revenge Naaa, whell see how I feel when those moments arrive.

Yep, the alumaweld sure is a safer, nicer place to put all the little ones and know their OK
