The annual ritual continues Couple nice eaters today- one 20", and the Bertha coming in at 29". I am pleased as punch, yet again Been a long time coming this year. Good news in the forecast is 2 more weeks of open water fishing weather. Mooneye from the same Red River at Selkirk, Manitoba location, a week previous. If I had a smoker, he'd be a keeper. Biggest Mooneye I've seen... Regards, Doc Sharptail |

ah yes - into the smoker - that would be delectable hors d'oeuvres to be sure , nothing like an oily whitefish to offer great smoker eating and those are fantastic eyes you got there - it would be illegal to keep them both here tho - we have a very restrictive DNR these days , do enjoy the banquet my friend , that is some great eating you are holding there |

yup - we are experiencing that here on lake milacs - one fish is the limit - gotta preserve the indigenous right to commercially eliminate all of the fish from the lake with their gill nets , |
