Just finishing up a week off work.

Been harangued and flummoxed by low water in a lot of places this year.

Did manage a couple of small rockies in sturgeon creek. They got released as usual.

Water's still very warm at Selkirk and Breezy Point. Pulled in 2 +30" channel cats at Lockport. Bull head cat bite is crazy at Breezy. Went through a 1/2 lb tub of minnows in less than an hour.

Only eater I managed was today~ a 3 lb. Jack on the Whitemouth R. at the Trans-Canada Hwy bridge.
Lookin forward to Sunday supper. It's been a while since we ate a pike out of water that clean

Had fun trying though, and ended up with a half decent tan. Gotta get a decent lid though- neck's sorta burnt. Leaning toward Stetson in black, Vaquero cut....

Regards,

Doc Sharptail

A Stetson would look way better than some of those dorky fishing hats with long bills and neck flaps!

Besides, there's nothing wrong with being a red neck! ;) SW

Our combined sense of humour has gotten us through a lot! ...And then some! ;)

Nother good day today with another Ruffed Grouse for the pot. We will be dining well for the next couple of days. Finally got the K-4-1 post and cross-hair Weaver aboard the 52 today. There will be a short bit on that in the appropriate section....

Life is very good these days
