Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Deer season's over so I went chasing turks this morning. Whacked the limit, I did! :bigrin: Shot 'em right in the face so no pellets in the meat.

That tomorrow's Thanksgiving doesn't relate to these - I'll be eating older daughter's store bought turk. These are for ME!! 8-)

I might be getting close to 70 & overweight, but I can still put the sneak on turks! ;)

Send some of that snowless cover this way. May sneek off for another crack at sharptails Friday if I can swing it...

61 and still rail thin. If I'm wearing my blue/grey plaid, the grouses don't see me 8-) All I gotta do is stand sideways to them and keep the gun more or less perpendicular.

The payoff! Put a breast & leg quarters in the crock pot this morning. No potatoes in the house - daughter used 'em yesterday - so I fried up a skillet of hash browns.

Made my own gravy, too! Margarine, milk, flour and turk juice & it turned out pretty darn good even if I only make it once a year.

Since I shot Mlle. Turk in the head, no pellets in the meat at all. Now for leftovers! :bigrin:

I don't get many points for plating and presentation, but it sure tastes good! SW

it looks great to me as well , i seldom "cook" for me and now that there are just us two we seldom sit down and either cook for us , but , after turkey day we did spend a few hours today making turkey soup and such from leftovers that can be frozen and eaten in our non-traditional lifestyle , i will say we did good - she would say it extends the holiday ,
