Couldn't stand it anymore & put #2 turk in the crock pot this morning. Eight hours later I could shake meat from the bone. Very tender and no pellets! (I always aim for the face )

Went full retard on the gravy with real butter and heavy cream. Lord have MERCY it's good!! I even brought up my vintage Puma carving set.

This will last about a week & I'll start plotting to whack 2 more in Jan!

Shoulda been a Chef Bud instead of a Hogger. Looks good, where's my invite for supper. Lol

Nice lookin food and cutlery. My granny had a stag handle blued set like that, in it's own lined glass top case. Not sure if they were puma or not. We kids were not allowed to touch...

i too remember a carving set like that at my grandparents thanksgiving table in the late 50s - i have no idea where they went - hope my sister has it , we , as kids , were also told "do not touch" , never did - that was two generations back sayin it to me - i respected that ,

i will add to the accolades on your cooking it looks delicious , my mouth is watering , and the cupboards are bare this evening , OH WELL - have another beer
