pike are an aggressive fish , but never had one bite my paddle yet , and ive paddled a lot of miles in pike country , always been able to get them to bite my lures and sometimes they will hit the fish i have on a line tho , i think that photo is staged , |

I have seen that happen in person, at least twice~ paddling the Whiteshell R. The jackfish involved were actually pretty small compared to what's pictured here. Our paddles of course were the trustworthy laminated wood... Regards, Doc Sharptail |
