Nice 9 + lbs male from Sturgeon Creek near the mouth at the Assiniboine R.

Enough fillets there for 3 hungry adults...

Regards,

Doc Sharptail

Another big male from Sturgeon Creek. I have not seen a male this big before. 12 lbs on the old Chatillon spring scale.

We are gonna have a big pickerel supper  once the weather cools down to the mid 70's or so...

Regards,

Doc Sharptail

Nice mid-summer eater from Sturgeon Creek. This is in the 2-1/2 to 3 lb range, and about the ideal size for eating. Blade on this new to me Finn is 8" and the handle is another 5". Fish actually shades a little better than 14".
Enough there for sides for 2 people

Regards,

Doc Sharptail
