My nephew with a very young polar bear taken way up yonder in Nunavut. Note 91-'30 complete with bayonet... Can you guys tell a Finn by the wood alone? Edit: With the pinned bayonet, it's likely a Chinese "No Wrinkle" carbine. Thought I seen a snow cap on it, and it had me going for a bit on the Finn idea. I ain't all that smart on them either. A lot of SKS's went on the market here from Norinco. People soon found out it was a bit of a mistake to un-pin and remove the knife- They still shot, but waay out of register with the original sights. Best to leave well enough alone... im not at all good with the mosins but a little better with the SKS , mine still has the blade attached |
