Cousin and I did a little black bass fishing this week. Went Tuesday, froze our asses off, still ended up with 11. Went back Thursday. Weather much better. Cousin took home 17. We threw two back, one 5 lbs 11 oz. that he caught. I caught one that we didn’t weigh, but guesstimate 4 1/2. Cousin kept all the fish as my freezer has way more bass in it right now than we can eat. Wanting to go crappie fishing, but wind is 20+ mph. No break in wind until front comes through Tuesday. BTW, both days we threw several dinks back. Lost a lot of fish. They were not aggressive in the least. |
