there are certain bodies of water that are open - the damed area of the river in elk river had a skier behind a jet ski yesterday on my way home , the pond/lake ouside of town has 15 feet of open water to the black ice - its very punky

im looking at the lawn- too soft to pull the boat out but gettin close and fishin opener is three weeks away - i gotta buy my licence

Riding the flood for Otter, Beaver, Muskrats is a blast......than Smelts, Geese, seagull eggs, boating around......Cant wait.

the smelt fries have been going for a few weeks here - ive yet to get to one but am planning to ,

Seagulls arrived today, the first Northern Migraters!!!!

Geese in a couple days, and the rush for the "First" to give away, and then on to filling freezers

Sure enough; The West wind is blowing, and the birds are here
