Yesterday's Weapons Forums

Came home from work yesterday and resting in the shade of my neighbors redwood trees across the pasture was a couple of deer. I dug out my binoculars which I always carry in each vehicle and took a closer look. Wow! Started counting, one, two. three, four, five, one, two, three, four. 5x4 buck in velvet, and a forked horn nearby. Huge for a black tail around here.
I ran into the house and grabbed my camera, and started shooting.

My last deer was a 3 point (western count) that I shot out in the pasture about four years ago.

This morning when I went out to feed the horses, he was out in the pasture with 2 forked horns!

Sure hope they are still around this fall.

I agree with Don... He's one majestic lookin buck though...

I agree with Don on the eating part but he wouldn't be too bad if you can get him before the rut.
