The wife gets busey with any birds I bring, first.....yep, shes 50% of a successfull hunt.

Skinning a Swan. They are VERY hard to pluck, so we skin them. The feathers pull off too much skin, so why bother? No down on the meat.......

I usually do the skinning and breakdown, though Agnes is no slouch herself, if I'm not home, or a son or two.

















Its not hard , though by no means easy, but certainly it is time consuming to transfer a living animal to the plate......it the way I like to pass Time.

You are making me hungry for some venison and I will definitely have some next month.
