Went for a meat hunt and to also put our property up for sale.

80 acres in NE Wyoming. The end of a dream.



I ended up getting Bambi (more appropriate as a female name) and her mother.
The mother, My rifle was shooting high so I hit her in the backbone and had to use a finishing shot.


The rifle is a 6.5/284 that I didn't take enough time to get sighted in properly.

The rifle is my 270 wby and was the farthest I ever had one run after being shot.

Now I just have to see if I can get one or two in Ohio.

I want to have a roast this weekend if I can talk my wife into it.

Do you have a place to hunt in Montgomery county???? I hunt my wife's cousin's farm here in Allen co. I made a box blind and put it on a tripod back in one corner.

That sounds like that would be a nice place to hunt. I am hoping to have enough money left after we sell in Wyoming to get about 10 acres here in Ohio either in Logan co or in SE Ohio.

Too bad about selling that property. Maby you can buy some closer to home......its good to own land, they quit making it a long time ago.
