Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

You may have heard on the news about a Southern California man who was put under a 72-hour psychiatric observation when it was found that he owned 100 guns and allegedly had (by rough estimate) 1-million rounds of ammunition stored in his home. The house also featured a secret escape tunnel.

My favorite quote from the dimwit television reporter was: "Wow! He has about a million machine gun bullets." The headline referred to it as a "massive weapons cache".

By southern California standards someone even owning 100,000 rounds would be called "mentally unstable. Just imagine if he lived elsewhere:

In Arizona, he'd be called "an avid gun collector".

In Arkansas, he'd be called "a novice gun collector".

In Utah, he'd be called "moderately well prepared", but they'd probably reserve judgment until they made sure that he had a corresponding quantity of stored food.

In Montana, he'd be called "The neighborhood 'Go-To' guy".

In Idaho, he'd be called "a likely gubernatorial candidate".

In Wyoming , he'd be called "an eligible bachelor".

And, in Texas, he'd be called "a deer huntin’ buddy".

in minnesota we call them normal - or a little less than normal , but because we are mostly norwegian - lutherans and german - catholics , we will refrain from comenting because it might seem a bit pretentious ,

however - our newly immagrated population of samolis might consider it a command from god and our mexican imigrants might think it a neccessity of buisiness................just a little first amendment rights gettin exercised because of the reality of life here - no need to file a federal lawsuit ,

In europe such people are called: "A firearms freak" in the press.
You qualify if you have more than one gun and/or belong to a shooting club.
