i just rethought how i feel about minnesota drivers as well , but only a little - still gotta deal with them daily ,

Try this one and tell me how you like it. I rode for 40 years and this made my heart stop a couple of times.

Yeah - that's wild! In my law enforcement days - back when dinosaurs roamed the earth - I did a stretch in motorcycle patrol = I was paid to ride around on an Electra Glide for 8 hours a day.

One Sat. afternoon there was quite a fight in a local bar & the guy who responded was letting on he didn't want to hog all the fun for himself & wouldn't somebody else like to enjoy it with him?

So I put the spurs to my ride and while steaming through an intersection en route the fisticuffs, a little old lady in her battleship Buick sedan entered the intersection at the same time.

To this day I *SWEAR* I could read Buick on the hood ornament. It was a near thing. Off-a to crack a few heads, and I enlisted in the State Patrol the next day.

You couldn't PAY me to ride in Russia! SW

Saturday. The weather finally straightened up & the lawn dried enough I could mow. Still chilly though - 34 degrees and frost on the windshield this morning. And most of the warm weather birds haven't showed up yet. Oddly, buzzards are warm weather birds... and I'm not seeing them. No swallows or curlews so it could be a short spring. SW

Saturday again and we made it through monsoon season. Spring is a *little* closer - I heard meadowlarks singing this morning & saw gophers cleaning up their basements. Wifey took flop ears in for a bath & that was wasted $. A dog can only stand to smell good for so long. She started to roll in coyote poop this morning, but I caught her before it was too bad. Back to the house & a scrubbing on the patio before breakfast.

I'm pretty well caught up on yard work so I feel a lazy day coming! SW
