Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

So whats the deal with the ranking system on the site?the thing near my name went from sargent to corpral. Rank systems out of wack :lol

I think its an automatic demotion just to throw everyone off. :lol :lol

Took me a while to figure it out. I thought my rank was a field promotion and it had been recended.

i lodged my complaint at the beginning as a frustration to the new site learning curve [i am fairly computer illiterate] but ill add here that ive accepted and figured out the new site satisfactorily ,

having said this , if we have a 'ranking' it should be correct , if not why have it ?
it doesnt change my visits , i seldom look at it and , it doesnt change the fact that we have good people here i like to associate with , also critical thinkers that are fun to discuss with
