Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

They both have their advantages. I carry a semi but for the Mrs., you can't get more "Soldier/Sailor proof than a revolver

I hate jamamatics--Never had a malfunction on my Python or other wheelguns that took more than 5 or 6 seconds to clear up. Had to tear down some autos to clear up problems.

Auto's for me. Jamming is always a possibility, though very rare with a good quality shooter, (only takes once!). Even a DA seems to have a harder pull to me, so I tend to be more accurate with the autos. Multiple shots on target with less drift also. I have nailed a few nice whitetails with my autoslides. Better long range shots go to the wheelies, I'm hiding from Don then. :bigrin:

I like both, although semi's are a lot more fun to plink with (especially 22's).

i prefer semi auto's, and mostly pre-1920 designs. we haven't progressed very far since then, imo. do kinda like the ruger p90, but it's about the only new one.

A good semi-auto is hard to beat. Holds more, faster, quick reload and reliable. `Nuff said...
