I have an old rifle that I have been having the hardest time identifying and valuing. From what I have found so far, it appears to be a Dutch Mannlicher rifle. The stamp on the barrel says HEMBRUG 1919. Here are a few pictures. I was once offered $250 for it, but I have no idea if that was too high or too low. |

Here's a similar rifle from gunborker. Yours looks a little better. I'm not completely up to speed on Dutch rifles - except the Beaumont-Vitali - but I think yours would bring more than 250. Just how much I really can't say. It should realistically bring between 250 & the 400 starter of the one shown in the link. And welcome to the site! Thanks for the info guys. I like the look of the rifle as well. I just wish I had the bayonet attachment, but all rest of it is all original (leather strap and all). |
