i am new here, so i thought i would start by posting a photo or two of one of my pawn shop rescues. i have a few, this is a rem. model 14 carbine in 30 rem. cal. it had no blueing an you could not see the grain in the wood. but the gun was tight with a perfect bore. 170.00 and it went with me. it has the correct wheel sight and it shoots great. made in 1912 |

i agree , all too often these older models are overlooked because they dont have that new rifle shine and 'look' but beneath the surface for those that can see its all there , waiting to be revived , beautiful job |
