I've owned the .22 Hornet in a contender and a Ruger #3 single shot. The keeper I own is a Kimber I bought nearly 30 years ago. It is a splendid cartridge and I wouldn't be without a rifle chambered for it. I killed three deer with mine, and though I haven't done extensive load development, I still find it easy to get sub moa accuracy from it. |
