Ramset blanks - Hmmmm - intersting! I would be rather careful as they simply were not made for Stevens Favourite rifles. I have two Favourites in .32 and one in .25 and a lot of ammo for both. I was using my .25 the other day and noted that all the ammunition was black powder but I used the last of my loose shells and only have a dozen or so full boxes left. I Do however have three to four thousand rounds of ramset blanks!
I dont want to open the full packets of .25 and .32 as most of them predate Remingtons takeover of UMC - they are allmarked Union Metallic Cartridge Company.

NZEF1945.......Wilkomen to the forum. Thanks for reviving some old threads! I am envious of you with the Stevens rifles. I lust after one here local but the old feller won't part with it. I mentioned it in an earlier thread it is chambred in 25-20 SS.
He also has one in 32-40 that I wouldn't mind having :D

Now they actually sound better than Favourites - they will look like Favourites but will actually be Ideals, Model 44 or 44 1/2 - I suggest you go see the fellow again, keep him well stocked with fish and game and you never know your kindness (with an ulterior motive) might be rewarded. Hell I feel hypocritical saying that...in fact did I say that?
