Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

stopped by a friends house last week to pick up a mould i had loaned him and he sent me home with a snider enfield conversion.. He gave me 20 loaded rounds and the rifle to play with.. i shot several rounds then reloaded them at the range with black powder and a 58 cal minnie bullet. loaded a heavy load of 2f black powder and hand seated the minnie ball over the powder seated it with hand pressure and shot it several times. nothing like the smell of black powder in the morning. the brits would have had a hard time seeiing the zulu warriors with the white smoke cloud form hundreds of these going off. kinda fun way to spend an afternoon. joe gifford argie1891

i only shot it at 25 yards it was pretty muddy out at 50 and i didnt want to walk in the slop. it isnt a tack driver but it would stay on the chest of a zulu warrior without a problem. these are a neat piece of history. argie1891
