Bug, rescued from the street 2001, lost him june 2016~ a sweet soul, never hurt anybody, never a biter or scratched....just real gentle...........we will miss him~hope i go where he is someday.......

Sorry for you loss. I have had Fred since 2001 also. His kidneys are failing and with the change of diet we are only slowing the inevitable. I have him checked frequently and when it comes time I only hope I can do what is right. I went through this with another cat that was my best friend for a long time and I was selfish and I made the decision too late. He suffered his last night and died in my arms. Shit now I am crying. Every time I loose one I ask myself "Why do I do this to myself?" Just gotta have the companionship of the furry 4 legged friends. |

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. To my wife and myself we will always have the furred ones in the home with us. It's because a house isn't a home till it has furry friends, children, companions in it. The wife and I will not live in a place that we cannot have our furred family. It hurts very much when they have to leave us but their time with us and the memories they leave us with makes it worth the mourning that the parting causes. Remember the antics & companionable moments you had together and they never really go completely away. |
